An wooden edition of Banksy's brilliant 'Peckham Rock', a 2005 piece of concrete showing a supposed prehistoric figure pushing a shopping trolley. The piece was unofficially placed into The British Museum (London) in 2005, accompanied by an authentic looking information label. The piece hung there for three days before the museum curators realised something was amiss. The reverse side contains the text from the information label that was originally placed with the wall art.
This edition is authorised by Pest Control / Banksy and was created for the British Museum as part of the iObject exhibition in 2018. It is long sold out.
