About

Baldwin Contemporary is a London-based gallery specialising in post war and contemporary works of art.

Adam Baldwin launched his eponymous gallery in 2018 which quickly established itself as a cultural nexus and specialist in the handling of works of art created by established and historically significant post war and contemporary artists.

Baldwin Contemporary typically focuses on those artists united through their conceptual diligence, quality and importance and with demonstrable museum, institutional, curatorial and secondary market momentum that has been built up over a number of years. The gallery has built a strong reputation for providing industry intelligence, market analysis and collection management, offering professional guidance to private collectors, advisors and public institutions in all aspects of acquiring important post war and contemporary art as well as building and refining collections.

In 2023 Baldwin Contemporary launched Baldwin Books, the gallery's publishing arm. Baldwin Books is dedicated to the creation, publication and dissemination of intriguing thought leadership in the field of visual communication.
